A Drop-In Consultation gives you 30 minutes to speak with a Speech and Language Therapist about any concerns you have about your child. It is not an assessment, but an opportunity to gain professional insight, discuss helpful strategies and explore suitable next steps.
How booking works
Choose a time and answer a few short questions about your child.
You'll be sent a 6-digit code to confirm your email address. It comes from hello@cal.com — check your junk folder if it hasn't arrived.
Pay by card. A Stripe receipt arrives straight away; your booking confirmation with the Google Meet link follows a few minutes later, also from hello@cal.com — check junk again, and move it to your inbox so reminders don't go astray.

Any of our Speech and Language Therapists can help with a Drop-In Consultation. You can look at their Bio’s on the About Us page to see if their special interests are a particular match for your needs, or simply pick whoever has a time that suits you.
What to expect
The consultation is a conversation between you and your Speech and Language Therapist, so your child doesn't need to be there — many parents find it easier without them. You'll need a device with a camera and microphone, and somewhere quiet to talk. There's nothing to download; the meeting link opens in your web browser.

Drop-In Consultations take place online, so you can book from anywhere in the UK.
Price and who you'll be speaking with
From £50 for a 30-minute session, held online on Google Meet. The price is shown before you pay, and payment is taken when you book.
Your consultation is with the Speech and Language Therapist you select via the button below — an independent practitioner working under the Kid Speech London name. Your booking and your payment are with them directly.
Changing your plans
You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your consultation for a full refund. You also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking — if your session is due sooner than that, we'll ask you to confirm at booking that you're happy for it to go ahead.
AI note-taking
Sessions may be transcribed by an AI tool so your Speech and Language Therapist can prepare written notes, and you'll be asked when you book whether you consent. The audio is never stored, and the transcript is deleted after 21 days. You're free to decline, and your session goes ahead in exactly the same way.
